      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Cob Loaf Dough
  1. Place water and yeast in bowl and mix 20 seconds speed 2

Add remaining ingredients and kneadDough mode for 1 min

Open lid and check dough- if really sticky add another 20 grams flour

    KneadDough mode for another min.

Turn out onto Thermomat or oiled bowl and allow to rise for 30 min in warm place

Knock down dough and form into a ball on a tray lined with baking paper and set aside for additional 30 minutes

Pre heat oven to 200 degrees and place cob loaf into oven and cook for 30- 40 mins until brown and sounds hollow

Once cooked remove and rest for 10 minutes

Get yourself a good bread knife or electric one and slice the top off the cob loaf and dig out the bread in the middle (the filling will go in the hollow base) Slice the bread taken from the middle and place on baking tray with cob loaf.

    Now Prepare Salmon filling

  2. Salmon Tempters Dip Filling
  3. Chop 1-2 stems spring onion 3 sec speed 6 (set aside)

    Mill 200 grams of cheese

Add 250 grams Philly Cheese (cream Cheese)

    150 grams Sour Cream

1 Tin Salmon tempters sweet chilli and lime or 2 if you want it stronger

    Return spring onions to bowl

Mix 10-15 seconds speed 4 or until combined

    Mix and warm 5 minutes/60 degrees/reverseCounter-clockwise operation/speed 2

Place dip mix into hollowed out cob loaf and put the bread lid on top

Wrap in foil and pop in oven for 10-15min on 120 degrees or until mixture and bread is hot.

Remove cob- and if the reserved bread pieces are not crunchy place under grill till brown and crunchy.

Put on a platter and remove cob lid and sprinkle with fresh dill salt and pepper then put lid back in place

I add crackers to the platter also.

Tip

This filling i came up with was when i was pregnant and was putting flavours together experimenting with cravings and is now a fav with all our guests and at bbq's. Its not real fishy its an easy creamy flavour for the pallette and very versatile if you want to add fresh chopped chilli, parlsey, basil etc
