If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
place yeast, milk, oil and 1 tsp sugar into thermomix bowl and blend for a few seconds on speed 5.
warm for 3 minutes/37C/speed 2
add remaining sugar, flour and salt and mix 10 seconds/speed 7
knead at interval setting for 2-3 minutes
wrap in bread mat or oiled bowl and set in a warm place to double
heat oven to 220C with tray in oven to heat up
place bicarb soda into hot water and dissolve with a fork
divide dough into 12 and then form pretzels by rolling long 'snakes' out of each piece. make a large pretzel shape, push joins together and then dip into cooled bicarb water before place on heated tray.
cook for 8 minutes until golden brown
remove and cool slightly before brushing with melted butter, tehn dressing with topping of choice such as sea salt; sugar and cinnamon or cheese.
