      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

You can make another batch of pastry to form a lid for the pie (I would recomend puff pastry for the lid)

  • The pie tasted very nice.

The pie tasted very nice. However the eggs mostly slid off the pie and I only managed to fit four eggs. Maybe I had too much spinach? I think a little more pastry and a pastry lid with the pie would help solve this problem!

The pastry is so easy and rolls out really well.  This pie looks very fancy too but simple to make.
