If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
add all ingredients, except butter, into Thermomix, in order.
mix on speed 7 for 7 seconds.
knead on dough setting for 5 minutes.
set on dough setting for 5 minutes, me hioe its kneading, add a cube of soft butter at a time, making sure it's incorporated between each cube.
Transfer to a greased bowl to rise for an hour.
punch dough down, transfer to a floured board and roll dough until around 1cm thick, use a 6 cm scone cutter To cut out the rounds. Leave on a lined tray, covered with a tea towel to rise for another 45minutes.
Heat oil in a saucepan until 180 degrees amd fry donuts for about 30 seconds each side until dark golden. Drain on paper towel.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar (1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon).
cut a small hole into the side, use a piping bag to fill with your favourite jam!

how much oil do you put in the frying pan - I'm using copha? is that ok
