- 1 portion Pizza Dough, Per EDC
- 3 pieces apple, Peeled and cored
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoon sugar, Milled to icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1-2 tablespoon Milk
Make pizza dough from EDC - this recipe uses one half of the dough made - so good to make as a dessert pizza after a savoury pizza for main! Roll out into a square. on Thermomat.
Place apple into TM bowl and shred (3 sec/speed 8 )
Add sugar and flour and mix (5 sec/speed 4)
Spread filling over entire square surface
Roll up from long edge into a spiral log.
Using spatula cut log into twelve portions.
Turn portions onto a baking tay with baking paper on top. Make scrolls abutting.
Combine topping ingredients in TMX bowl (5 sec/speed 4)
Using pastry brush or fingers spread a little on top of each spiral. Wipe out TM bowl and dry if you need to mill your sugar for the glaze.
Place in preheated hot oven (as per cooking a pizza) for 15 - 20 minutes. Scrolls are cooked when they start to brown. Remove scrolls and let cool for ten minutes before adding glaze.
Add all ingredients to TM bowl and cook 60 degrees/3 min/speed 4. Pour over cooled scrolls or put in jug so people can serve themselves.
This is a very sweet recipe! I have reduced the sugar to our tastes - but adjust to your own as required. Keeping glaze to side allows people to adjust to theirs as well.
Accessories you need
Use any seasonal fruit for the filling - like pear etc. You could also replace the glaze with EDC custard - yum!
