Ingredients

Apple turnover

  • 4 green apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup water
  • egg white
  • 3 sheets Puff pastry
  • Extra sugar to sprinkle

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Apple turnover
  1. Peel, core and dice apples. Add to bowl with 2 tbsp sugar, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1 cup water. Use egg boiler mode and turn to medium soft setting.
  2. Drain apples and let cool.
  3. Make 2 circles in your puff pastry (I used a bowl)
  4. Place 2 tbsp of apple mixture on pastry sheets and fold in half.
  5. Whisk egg white with fork and bast turnovers. Sprinkle with sugar and place in the oven until golden. Then let cool.
  6. While that's cooling, start on the cream.
    Place butterfly into bowl and add 300g cream, 2 tbsp icing sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix for 40sec, sp4. When turnovers are cool slice the middle half way and using a piping bag to pipe in the cream. Sprinkle icing sugar on top. Makes 6
