For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180*c (fan forced) Line a deep loaf tin with baking paper and set aside
- Place bananas into mixing bowl and mix 5 sec / speed 6
- Add butter and raw sugar and mix 20 sec / speed 4. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula
- Add eggs and mix 10 sec / speed 4
- Add plain flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, milk and ground cinnamon and combine 20 sec / speed 4
- Pour mixture into prepared loaf tin and bake for 50-60 mins (180*c) or until an wooden skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean
- Allow to cool in tin for 30 mins before turning onto a wire rack. Serve warm or allow to cool completely before storing in a sealable container
