Biscoff Blondies with Caramilk Choc Chips
- 75 g unsalted butter
- 200 g brown sugar
- 1 --- egg, large
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 80 g Biscoff spread, smooth or crunchy
- 125 g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 225 g Caramilk choc chips

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 175°. Grease and line a baking tin (20cmx20cm)
Add butter to mixing bowl and melt 2min/100°/sp 3, or until fully melted
Add sugar to mixing bowl and set timer to 1min/sp 3/MC off. Add whole egg and extra yolk slowly through hole in mixing bowl lid
Add vanilla and biscoff and mix 5sec/sp 3
Add flour, baking powder, bi carb and salt and mix 10sec/sp 5. Scrape down bowl
Add choc chips and mix 5sec/sp5/reverse
Add batter to prepared tin. Bake for 25 mins or until skewer comes out clean when inserted.
Leave to cool in tin for 10mins before cutting and serving
