Cacao Brownie

  • 90 grams cacao powder, organic
  • 130 grams coconut oil, (melted)
  • 85 grams full cream milk, Or preferred milk
  • 4 --- eggs
  • 120 grams almond meal
  • 160 grams Coconut sugar

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and place non-stick paper on a cake pan of around 25x25cm.
  2. *Mill almonds 10 sec / speed 9 if no almond meal *Chop nuts if using 5 sec / speed 4
  3. Add all ingredients into the bowl mix 10 sec / speed 4.
  4. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat 5 sec / speed 4.
  5. Pour mixture into the cake pan.
  6. The usual baking time is 20 minutes on 180°C but recommend you check with a toothpick every minute from the 15th. The Brownie will be ready when the toothpick comes out with a smear of brown colour and a few moist crumbs sticking to it.

Serve warm or cold with your favourite fresh fruit and/or coconut ice cream for a decadent desert.
