Cacao Banana Bread

  • 220 g plain flour
  • 1 and a 1/2 level tsp baking powder
  • 100 g raw sugar
  • 15 g cacao powder
  • 120 g Butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 soft bananas
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees.

    2. Mill sugar in Closed lid 10 secs/ speed 10

    3. Add flour, baking powder and cacao powder into Closed lidmix on turbo .5 secs 4 times to sift the ingredients together and then set aside in a bowl until needed

    4. Add butter to Closed lid and melt 3 mins/ 50 degrees/ speed 3

    5. Add eggs, vanilla extract and bananas to Closed lid and mix 15 secs/ speed 5 to combine

    6. Add dry ingredients to Closed lid and mix 10 secs/ speed 5. Scrape down the bowl and mix for a further 10 secs/ speed 5

    7. Pour the mixture into a tin and bake in oven for approx 50 mins

    8. ENJOY!!
