      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Turn oven to 180 degrees and line 2 or 3 baking trays.

  2. Add soft butter pieces, icing sugar and condensed milk. Replace lid. Mix for 2 mins/speed 2.5 until smooth and pale in colour.

  3. Add 1 cup flour. Replace lid. Mix 30sec/speed 3. Remove lid. Add the rest of the flour. Replace lid. Mix 30sec/speed 3 or until combined.

  4. Then add in choc bits. Replace lid. Mix 30sec/speed 3 Counter-clockwise operation or until combined.

  5. Spoon onto lined baking tray in small heaps. Allow room between each heap for them to expand. Bake for 15mins or until golden brown. Place on wire rack to cool.
