Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Preheat oven to 180°
Put butter and sugar into TM bowl. Place butterfly over blade. Beat spd 4/30 sec.
Scrape down sides of TM bowl. With butterfly still in place add lemon rind and egg, beat spd 4/10 secs.
Scrape down sides of bowl. Remove butterfly. Sift in flour and baking powder. Mix spd 4/20 secs.

Lay sliced apple over the top, completely covering and pushing pointy edge into the mixutre. Bake in the oven for 45 to 60 mins.

Tip
I have made this recipe on a larger scale, using a springform cake tin and by doubling the ingredients - the cooking time was 1hr 30mins
