If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line a 12 cup muffin tray with paper cases
Add golden syrup and butter to the bowl. Mix and melt for 3 mins / 70 degrees / Speed 2
Add milk and eggs. Mix 10 sec / Speed 3
Add flour, bicarb, caster sugar and ginger. Mix 30 secs / Speed 4
Spoon mixture into prepared muffin cases
Bake for 25 mins in 180 degree oven or until golden and the top of muffins springs back lightly when pressed.

Converted from the Great Little Australian Muffin Book. These are light and a muffin version of ginger bread. Try adding different spices; mixed spice, cinnamon, cloves for a different flavour.
