TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Preheat oven to 180 C and line a large loaf tin with baking paper.
If desired, grind almond meal first. Place 140 g almonds into bowl. Grind approx 8 sec/sp 8 or until finely ground, but not releasing any oils. Set aside.
Place all ingredients from bananas through almond milk into the bowl and blend 10 sec/sp 4.
Add remaining ingredients. Mix 10 sec//sp 3. Scrape down and mix any flour from sides in with a spatula or re mix for a few more seconds on reverse.
Place batter into a baking paper lined bread loaf pan. Bake in 180C oven 45-60 minutes or until bread feels firm and is golden brown on top. Remove from oven and cool in the pan on a rack. Cool at least 1 hour before cutting or the bread will be too crumbly and fall apart.
Please be careful if making this recipe for someone else who is gluten free. Oats, in particular, can be contaminated with gluten and some people who are gluten free cannot tolerate even uncontaminated oats. For our family who are wheat free, this recipe is perfect.
