Hi there. I am so excited to make these. This may be a silly question but what brand chocolate did you use? Does it have to be cooking chocolate or any bar of chocolate? (I never make chocolate stuff)

    Delicious!
used hazelnut meal as that was what I had & also all dark chocolate & nuttelex as we are dairy free too. Reduced sugar to 100g as suggested by other comment. I was super impressed & so were the tiny humans!

I'e made a lot of brownies in my time, but these were by far the best! No crunchy crist, but a nice, soft, rich, moist brownie without being pasty in the middle. An absolute hit at morning tea!

  • These were delicious. I will

    Submitted by Blackpetal68 on 27. June 2016 - 15:36.

These were delicious. I will reduce the sugar next time as they were very sweet. They didn't crack much after the 20 minutes but i didn't want to leave them in longer in case i ruined them. Hoping if i leave them in longer next time they might go a bit crunchy on the outside.

  • This is a fabulous recipe.  I

    Submitted by Sandie7 on 28. June 2015 - 11:25.

This is a fabulous recipe.  I actually reduced the sugar to 90g which didn't hurt the flavour at all and then I added left over walnuts and some pistatios to.  My gosh they just disappeared.  I have to make more for those who never got to try them.  My gluten free girlfriend was blown away by them.  Thank you for this recipe.

  • Have made these twice now. So

    Submitted by memnoch on 14. December 2014 - 08:43.

Have made these twice now. So easy and delicious. I chucked some frozen raspberries on top as I was putting it in the oven and upped the cooking time slightly. So fudgy and chocolatey! Massive tick of approval from the chocholic celiac and everyone at work.
