  • 200g sugar
  • 100g Butter
  • 210g plain flour
  • 1/2tsp baking powder
  • 1tsp Bi Carb
  • 1/2 tsp grated nutmeg

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup dates

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    persimmon loaf
  1. add persimmons to bowl and chop 5secs speed5

    then add eggs,sugar,melted cooled butter and beat 10secs speed 5

     

    add eveything else and blend on speed 4 for approx 5-10 secs till combined dont over beat 

    add nuts and dates if using and beat 2secs/rev/speed4

     

    pour into lined loaf tin and bake in180 oven for 1hour approx check the centre  with pick if comes out clean its ready tmrc_emoticons.)

    This is a lovely fragrant loaf with a moist texture.  It reminds me a bit of carrot cake.  Very yummy.  Thank you, I will be making this again.
