Shortbread Base

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Shortbread Base
*Pre-heat oven to 160⁰C and line slice tray with baking paper. *Follow the recipe for shortbread on the BASIC COOK BOOK recipe chip.
*Press shortbread dough into bottom of slice tray and bake for around 20 minutes.
Filling
*Turn oven up to to 180⁰C
*Place 1 can of condensed milk, 30 g golden syrup, 30 g butter and 1 teaspoon of salt into mixing bowl 8 mins / 80⁰C /speed 2
*Pour into slice tin on top of shortbread base
*Bake for 10 mins
*Allow to cool in tin
Topping
*Add 250 g white choc drops and 5 g veg oil to mixing bowl
*3-4 mins / 90⁰C / speed 0.5
*Pour onto slice and spread to cover evenly
*Allow to cool for 15 mins on bench then place in fridge for a minimum of 1 hour
*Gently remove from tin and slice into small portions
*Store in an airtight container in fridge
