Cookie Dough

  • 250 grams Butter
  • 140 grams Coconut sugar or your choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 300 gram Spelt Flour White
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 100 grams chocolate chips, whichever you prefer

Recipe's preparation

    Preheat oven to 190 degrees.
  1. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  2. Add flour, baking powder, sugar and salt to bowl. Mix for 5 seconds, speed 6.
  3. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  4. Chop butter into cubes with the spatula, and add to the dry ingredients in the bowl. Mix for 10 seconds, speed 4, until mixture is crumbly in texture.
  5. Add more time if required to get the crumbly consistency.

  6. Add egg yolk and vanilla essence and 100g chocolate chips, 15 seconds, speed 3, or until a biscuit dough consistency is reached.
  7. Describe the preparation steps of your recipe

  8. Break of desired cookie size pieces, and bake for 6-8 minutes or until lightly brown

  10. Remove from oven and leave for a couple of minutes to harden, then transfer to a cooling rack.

Tip

After making the dough, chill for an hour and then it is easy to use this dough and use cookie cutters to make into desired shapes.
