- 190 grams plain flour
- 70 grams wholemeal flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon all spice
- 100 grams brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 grams vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 140 grams Carrots cut into
- 2 Medium apples cored cut into chunks
- 160 grams pitted dates
- 70 grams walnut pieces, Extra to sprinkle on top

1. Preheat oven 170 degrees
lightly grease and flour a loaf pan
2.Cut carrots and apple place in TM bowl 5 seconds speed 5
set aside in bowl
place pitted dates into TM bowl 10 seconds speed 9 place aside clean bowl then
3.Add flours ,baking powder,bicarbonate soda,salt,cinnamon and all spice 30 seconds speed 3
4. Then all other ingredients eggs ,vegetable oil 15 seconds speed 5
scrape down sides 20 seconds speed 7
5. Pour the batter into prepared loaf tin
sprinkle wth a hand ful of walnuts
6. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown a cake tester or scewer inserted into centre comes out clean
