  • 150 grams milk
  • 100 grams soft butter
  • 250 grams plain flour
  • 200 grams Dark Brown Sugar
  • 3 level teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 level teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1 level teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre heat oven to 160C (150 fan forced)

    Grease and line slice tin

    Add butter and milk to TM and cook for 2 mins 90C spGentle stir setting

    Add all other ingredients and mix 30 sec sp 3 or until combined

    Transfer to cake tin

    Cook for 55 mins

    Remove from cake tin and cool on rack

    Store in airtight container or wrap in al foil
