Ingredients

Weet-bix Fruit Slice

  • 60 grams Weet-Bix, crushed, apporx 4 weet-bix
  • 150 grams sultanas
  • 75 grams Wholemeal Self Raising Flour
  • 75 grams White Self Raising Flour
  • 40 grams Coconut
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 10 grams cocoa
  • 150 grams Butter
  • 10 grams golden syrup

Recipe's preparation

    Weet-Bix Fruit Slice
  1. Pre-heat oven 160 degrees (fan forced)

    Spray & line a slice tin

    Put butter & golden syrup in TM bowl, 2 mins/90 degrees/ Speed 3

    Scrape down bowl

    Add flours, coconut, sugar, weet bix, cocoa mix 10 secs/speed 4

    Add sultanas mix 10 secs/speed 4/Counter-clockwise operation

    Pour into tin & bake for approx 20-25 mins.

Tip

Great for lunch boxes or after school snack.

A great way to use up left over weet bix from the bottom of the box!

    Thanks for sharing. I found this really crumbly; so much so I poured it out of the slice tin and made it into bliss balls. The flavour is good, but I would suggest an egg (as someone mentioned above) to bind it all together  tmrc_emoticons.)

    A lunchbox favourite! It is a bit crumbly though. The last time I made it, I added an egg and that made it not so crumbly.

    Hi,

    thanks for sharing your recipe with us. It's in the oven right now...the recipe didn't say when to put the weetbix in so i did that when i did the flour i hope that's ok. 

    Can't wait to taste this
