  • 700 g ice cubes, ( 2 x 350g lots)
  • 2 egg whites

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place sugar and lemon zest into mixing bowl and mill 10 sec/speed 10.

  2. Add apples, 350g ice and egg whites. Blend 8 - 10 sec/speed 10.

  3. Add remaining ice (350g) and, using spatula to assist, continue to blend 1 - 2 min/speed 10, or until fruit and ice are incorporated.

    Serve immediately.

    Kids and hubby liked it but I wasn't a fan - I made half quantity and used 50g of sugar.

    Deliciously refreshing! The kids loved it. I didn't have enough apples so added the whole lemon (peeled). It added the zing we like. Thanks for this recipe. I'll be freezing this one in summer for icy poles.

    Very nice and refreshing. Only used 70g of sugar and it was still too much so will halve again next time. But lovely and refreshing for Summer!

    Simple and tastes great.  We made it several hours ahead and it didn't freeze up too much.  Also added extra lemon zest. Will try next time with lime or mint.

    Used this recipe for a demo as host requested an Apple Sorbet. Sugar level is just right when using Granny Smith apples.

    Made this for my family as I seem to making the fruity dream almost every week!  I only made half the quantity and it all went in the bin.  It was so sweet and the texture seemed not right..  Sorry, wont be making a second time. tmrc_emoticons.(
