- 12 g reen apples, peeled cored and sliced
- 150 g brown medium grain rice
- 250 g plain flour
- 250 g Butter, at room temperature
- 200 g castor sugar
- 100 g icing sugar
- 100 g cream cheese

Pre-heat oven to 180C
Place water in TM bowl. Place prepared apples in the Varoma and steam for 15 minutes at Varoma temperature on speed 4. Set aside.
Wash and dry the TM bowl.
Mill 200g sugar for 3 seconds speed 9 set aside this will be your castor sugar.
Mill 100g sugar for 10-15 seconds on speed 9 set aside ( this will be your icing sugar)
Mill rice for 1 minute on speed 9, add flour, butter in pieces and castor sugar mix for 6 seconds on speed 8 to combine.
Set dial to closed lid position, knead for 1 minute on Interval speed.
Put 2/3 of mixture into spring form tin press over base and sides add apples then roll out remainder of mixture to cover apples.
Bake in moderate oven for 30-35 minutes. Place icing sugar and cream cheese into TM bowl and mix for 15-20 seconds on speed 9
Spread on cool cake
