Festive Avocado and Ginger Ice Cream

  • 1 Ripe Avocado, (140g of Pulp)
  • 2 lemons, (80g of Juice)
  • 200 grams white sugar

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Avocado and Ginger Ice cream
  1. Place Ginger into TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds on speed 7.

     

    Scrape down sides.  Add Avacado pulp, Lemon juice and Sugar. Blend for 1 minute, speed 8.  Scrape down sides.

     

    Add Cream and mix a further 20 sec, speed 8.

     

    Pour into a container and freeeze overnight.

     

    Scoop and serve immediately with berries of your choice
