      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 150degC.
    Prepare mini-muffin tray with silicone mini-muffin/cupcake cases.
  2. Place almonds in TM bowl and chop 2 seconds / speed 6.
    Set aside.
  3. Place all other nuts in TM bowl and chop 2 seconds / speed 5.
  4. Add chopped almonds back into bowl, along with maple syrup and vanilla bean paste.
    Stir 5 seconds / speed 2 / Counter-clockwise operation until syrup mixed through.
  5. Place approx 1.5 tablespoons of mixture into silicone cupcake/mini-muffin cases in a mini-muffin tray and press down till firm.
  6. Bake in oven at 150degC for 20 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool in cases, then remove and enjoy!
