      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 70C (convection), or the lowest setting it will go.
Cut fruit and vegetables into 3-4cm pieces. Place into TM bowl.

Chop for 5 seconds, speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Place measuring cup into lid and squeeze lemon over the top, catching the pips in the lid. Remove pips.
    Cook for 11 minutes, 100C, speed 2.

Meanwhile rub 2 large baking trays with coconut oil, or line with baking paper or silicon mat.
When fruit has finished cooking, blend 1 min, starting at speed 4, gradually increasing to Speed 9.
Spread mixture onto sheets in thin layer. Tap the trays on the countertop to help evenly distribute the mixture.
Place in oven to dehrydrate for 4-5 hours, until set but not too tacky. Turn off oven and leve to set in the oven for about an hour.
