This is beautiful. smooth and creamy and kids 18 mths and 3.5 yrs loved it. So did the adults and it was a lovely addition to fruit salad for an easy dessert. I added a 1/2 tsp of vanilla paste and made it with full cream milk. Added to regular "using up bananas" recipe catagory!

    Submitted by Nat8443 on 5. August 2016 - 19:29.

Fantastic recipe - thank you. My 4 year old didn't like the idea of banana custard, so I mixed in enough carob to turn it brown-ish, added some chia seeds to thicken and - voila - chocolate custard!! He absolutely loved it! The great thing about adding brown stuff was that it kept well without going a funny brown colour. I will definitely be making this again as both banana and 'chocolate' custard tmrc_emoticons.)
