Brown rice with garlic chicken

Ingredients

  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 20 grams olive oil
  • 400 grams brown rice
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 500 grams chicken breast
  • 500 grams water
  • 1 tablespoon EDC Vegetable Stock
  • Salt and pepper

Recipe's preparation

    Place garlic in bowl and chop 3 sec / speed 7. Saute 2 mins / V / speed 2. Add cinnamon, stock and water. Add rice to basket and cook 5 mins / V / speed 2. Add chicken to varoma with salt and pepper (optional). Cook 20 mins / V / speed 2-3. Place rice in thermoserver, pour remaining juice over rice. Place chicken in bowl and chop on reverse 4 sec / speed 4. Place on rice and stir through. rest in thermoserver for 5 mins before serving.

    Epic fail not enough water for brown rice and not enough time you need 1.2 L of water and cook for 45min

    Made this the other night and was a fail. The rice did not cook, even with extra 5 minuets cooking.

    But i made this tonight with Jasmin rice and was perfect (25 minuets for the rice) Love the flavours tmrc_emoticons.)
