If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
"Counter-clockwise operation" Mix Marinade spices with the chicken and place in fridge whilst preparing the sauce.
Place the halved onion and garlic in the TM5 bowl 3 Secs/ SP 5 with MC on
Add spices / oil / green chilli Saute 3min/ Veroma/ "Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting"
Add plum Tomatoes 10Sec/ Sp 10 with MC on
Then 30min/100/"Counter-clockwise operation" sp2 with steam basket on lid.
Add rest of the ingredients 20min/100/"Counter-clockwise operation" "Gentle stir setting" with steam basket on lid

We would not call this a Jalfrezi. Heat level was right but it was too dry and missing hte sweet aspect a good jalfrezi should have.
