Chicken Mushroom & Spinach Filo Pie

  • 50 grams olive oil
  • 50 gram Tasty cheese
  • 1 portion onions
  • 50 gram Butter, Miso butter
  • 1 heaped tsp chicken stock paste
  • 1 heaped tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 piece Portabello mushroom large
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 250 gram cream cheese
  • 250 gram Fresh Baby Spinach
  • 300 gram chicken breast, Cut into 3cm pieces

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180oC
    Grease a 23cm spring pan
  2. Place taste cheese in bowl Closed lid 5sec/speed 7. Transfer to bowl and set asside
  3. Place onion and garlic into mixing bowl and chop 5sec/speed 5. Scrap down the sides.
  4. Add butter, eggs, flour, chicken stock, cut up mushrooms (2cm), cream cheese, eggs, chicken and spinach. Cook 15min/Counter-clockwise operationspeed2
  5. Peel the filo pastry out opening it to hang over the spring pan. Push layers as best you can with extra olive oil
  6. Pour mixture into middle of prepared pan and fold on the sides to cover. Sprinkle the top with reserved cheese. Bake in oven for 30 minutes.
  7. BlendTake out of oven and place onto wooden cutting board and out of pan to cut and serve.
