Tip

This dish is best served with Steamed Rice or Cauliflower Rice and a Squeeze of Lemon Juice.  If you like it thicker sauce use Corn Flour to thicken at the end.

NOTE:  Fresh Prawns may be used instead of Chicken for a delicious alternative, and if you are not Dairy Free Milk can be used instead of Coconut Milk.

This is a great dish for using up left over Chicken (eg BBQ). To use up already cooked chicken just add it in Step 5. with the Peas & Corn and Coconut Milk as you are only heating in through

Chicken went to mush- completely shredded. Perhaps speed 2 is a bit fast, or perhaps I cut my chicken too small? Would love if these recipes could be more thorough in their descriptions.

Delicious, added extra vegetables, cauliflower and celery along with the other vegetables.
Added grated ginger, tumeric and garlic, also thickened with cornflour even though only added 100 grams of water. Would be nice with some added fresh corriander sprinkled over the top, I used Ayam curry powder which has a Thai flavour.

Absolutely beautiful and so easy to make. I used one and a half teaspoons of curry powder, changed the milk to 130ml cream (thickened) and 60 mls milk, thickens at the end with about tablespoon of plain flour and mixed through in reverse for 10 sec speed 4.

Made this for dinner tonight and it was great! Didn't have any zucchini so just added 2 carrots. Sauce was a bit to watery for my liking so I added a bit of corn flour! Thanks for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)

  • This is one of my favourite

    Submitted by Amy M on 14. November 2015 - 19:42.

This is one of my favourite thermomix meals.

I cut down the chicken (200g) and made up the extra in veggies, had it with brown rice for a healthy dinner. It was a little runny, but instead of adding cornflour, I think I'll just put a little less water next time.

Quite nice but I think the fresh chicken got a little lost in the amount of sauce. Think it would be nicer with left over cooked chicken in biggish pieces. tmrc_emoticons.)
