  • Have been cooking this since

Submitted by Beth Higgins on 11. September 2016 - 16:06.

Have been cooking this since we first got thermie and its still a family favourite. It's pretty much the only dish I cook that my 5 year old doesn't whine about before eating it, and he gets excited when I say its for dinner. It's also great because if I want a night off cooking, my husband can cook it without needing to ask too many questions. Thanks!!

Will be a regular go to recipe! And really easy! Thanks!

    Submitted by Hotlips on 7. April 2015 - 23:18.

Yummo!! Thanks. I tweaked by adding 3 cloves of garlic as a first step & chop 3 secs speed 7 then add onion as per recipe. Then I increased the wholegrain mustard to 30 gms & added 1 heaped tsp of hot english mustard, along with increasing honey to 50gms. I also put broccoli & sugar snap peas in the varoma for the 20 mins of cooking time & stirred through at the end & served over rice. Will be making again soon!  tmrc_emoticons.;) tmrc_emoticons.D

  • This is one of our families

    Submitted by kadie on 1. October 2013 - 08:28.

This is one of our families most favourite dishes, and, I find it exceptionally variable. I often serve with steamed carrots/peas/broccoli (in varoma whilst chicken cooking) and rice or sometimes add carrots and peas to the chicken and serve with plain rice. Its a true favourite, everytime!
