      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add water to the TM bowl

    2. Cut chicken into strips and place into the Varoma. Cook 25 mins/ Varoma / Speed 2. After 10 minutes add Peas, corn and carrot. When finished check chicken is cooked through.

    3. Discard water from TM bowl and add chicken. Shred 4 second / reverse / speed 4.

    4.  Add peas, corn and carrots, vegetable stock and cream. Cook 5 minutes/ 100 degrees/ Reverse / soft

    5. Place a sheet of pastry on bottom of a round baking dish, pour chicken mixture in, place a sheet of pastry over the top of chicken mixture and over the edges of the baking dish. Pierce 4 times, brush with milk and cook in the oven on 180 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden.
