Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add lamb to bowl and mince on Turbo in 2 sec bursts (I did 3), checking consistency between bursts. Remove lamb from bowl when you are happy with the consistency.
- Without washing the bowl, add onion and garlic to bowl and chop for 3 seconds, speed 7.
- Add the oil and saute for 5 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1 "Counter-clockwise operation" MC off.
- Add the carrots and chop for 3 seconds, speed 7. Scrape down the bowl.
- Add minced lamb, stock, tomato paste and crushed tomatoes. Using steaming basket instead of MC, cook for 20 minutes, 100 degrees "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2.
- Serve over your favourite pasta with fresh grated Parmesan.
