      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

When doubling the meat sauce and you get to sautéing the beef mince, increase the sautéing time to 16 minutes to ensure all the mince has been cooked.

Only use 3 tins of crushed tomatoes as apposed to 4 tins. 4 tins will not fit in the TM5 and I don't think it needs the extra.

When adding the tomatoes, salt & sugar increase cooking time to 90 minutes.

Thanks for your feed back. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for your tips too. I have a huge lasagne dish so that's why I double the recipe ☺.

I made this recipe for my husband's birthday. He's a huge lasagne fan and he loved it. When sautéing the beef I used stir, instead of speed one. I found there was plenty of meat sauce without needing to double the recipe. I also found that the cheese sauce needed extra cooking time to make it nice and thick.  It does take a while to make, so definitely a recipe for the weekend or a day off work. I'll be making it again. tmrc_emoticons.) Yum!
