Minced meat skewers with prune

  • 150 g onion, halved
  • 15 g olive oil
  • 500 g Beef mince, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/2 teaspoons paprika, hot, ground
  • 2-3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 12-18 pitted prunes
  • 12 slices prosciutto, or pastirma

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. place onion into mixing bowl and chop Blend5 s/obr. 5 Scrape down sides of mixing bowl using spatula.
  2. Add olive oil, Sauté Warm Up3 min/120°C/obr. 1
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line the baking trey with baking paper and set aside.
  4. Place minced meat in mixing bowl, add salt, pepper and paprika and chop 15 s/obr. 6. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl using spatula
  5. Add breadcrumbs, mix Blend15 s/obr. 5. Transfer to another vessel and set aside.
  6. Place the prunes on skewer sticks, 5 for each skewer. Cover each skewer with prunes evenly with the meat mass, then wrap each skewer with 2 slices of pastirma. Place on a previously prepared baking tray and bake for 30-35 minutes (190°C). Serve whole or removed from sticks and cut into approx. 1 cm slices.
