Recipe's preparation

    Quick Pasta and Lamb Casserole
  1. 1.         Preheat oven to 180°C.

    2.         Cook pasta in a saucepan on the stovetop, then set aside, while you prepare the rest of the casserole.

    3.         Mince lamb.  Place 300-400g of cubed lamb (slightly thawed if meat is frozen) into TM bowl.  Mince for 8-15 seconds on speed 7 until desired consistency.  Set aside.

    4.         Place onion into TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds on speed 5.

    5.         Add oil and sauté for 2 minutes at 100°C on speed 1.

    6.         Add mince and cook for 10 minutes at Varoma temperature on Reverse + speed 1.5.

    7.         Add tomato and tomato based pasta sauce, carrot, mushrooms and zuchinni.  Cook for 8 minutes at Varoma temperature on Reverse + speed 1.5.

    8.         Add cooked pasta and sauce to a 2 litre capacity casserole dish, gently stirring through.

    9.         Make sauce by adding cornflour, carnation light and creamy evaporated milk and 30g tasty cheese to TM bowl.  Cook for 6 minutes at 90°C on speed 4.

    10.     Pour the sauce over the pasta mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

    11.     Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
