      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add garlic, oregano, chill flakes, cumin to the bowl - blitz 5 seconds/speed 7
  2. Add chicken to the bowl. 15 seconds/Reverse/Speed 2 until chicken is coated
  3. Transfer chicken to air fyer and cook until golden.
  4. Without washing the bowl, add butter, garlic and onion. Blitz 5 seconds speed 7. Saute 5 mins/100/Reverse/Speed 2
  5. Add tomato paste, milk and cream for cooking 8 mins/90/Reverse/Speed 2 - hint... if you prefer a thicker sauce you can add cornflour diluted in water at this step. you can also add any vege if you like.
  6. Once chicken is cooked, add to the bowl with a few handfuls of spinach leaves. 3 mins/90/Reverse/Speed 2
  7. Serve with steamed rice or greens.
