  • 1.5 teaspoons xylitol
  • 1 tablespoon almond or macadamia milled, gluten free
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bi Carb Soda
  • 2 garllic cloves
  • 500 grams Beef fillet, cubed
  • 200 grams onion
  • 40 grams macadamia oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sambal Oelek (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sherry
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vingar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Keto Asian Beef
  1. Mill the Xylitol till powder-set aside.

    Mill the macadamias or almonds then to this add ginger, egg, tamari, xylitol, bicarb & garlic into mixing bowl. Chop 5sec/speed 8.

    Place beef into large bowl, pour marinade on top. Marinade for 1-3hours. Clean and dry bowl.

    Place onion, macadamia oil into mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides. Saute 4min 30 sec/ 100 deg/speed 1.

    Add beef & marinade, sambal oelek (if adding), sherry, chinese 5 spice, rice wine vinegar & sesame oil cook 15 min/100 deg/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting.

    Let rest 10min

    This dish is delish!! I made it with Oyster Blade Steak and it came out so tender. Flavour was awesome and enjoyed by the whole family Smile
