FODMAP Friendly Lentil Bolognaise

  • 3 sprigs spring onion, green part only cut to 3cm lenghts
  • 1 celery stalk, cut in pieces
  • 3 sprigs flat-leaf parsley, leaves only
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 3 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 pinches dried chilli flakes, (to taste, optional)
  • 15 g garlic infused olive oil
  • 25 g olive oil
  • 500 g cherry tomato, cut in half
  • 400 g canned tomatoes
  • 400 g canned lentils, rinsed and drained, approx 250g after draining
  • 190 g sun-dried tomato pesto, (fodmap friendly)

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Preparation
  1. 1. Place spring onion, celery, parsley, thyme, oregano, chilli flakes (optional), garlic oil and olive oil into mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 7
    2. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula, then saute 3 min/100C/speed 1.
    3. Add all remaining ingredients and cook 17 min/100C/speed 1. Transfer into a thermal serving bowl or warm ceramic dish and cover to keep warm. Serve as desired.
