Gorgonzola and Gouda Sauce

  • 2 clove garlic, To taste
  • 1 onion
  • 4 slices gouda cheese
  • 250 g Milk
  • 200 g cream
  • 50 g Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1-2 heaped teaspoons dried oregano, To taste
  • 1 heaped teaspoons dried basil, To taste
  • 2 heaped tsp Vegetable stock paste
  • 50 g Gorgonzola cheese, To taste
  • 2 level tbsp potato starch, To thickness
  • 1 level tsp parsley, To taste

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Sauce
  1. Peel and quarter onion.
    Add onion and garlic to Closed lid and 5 seconds on speed 5.

    Add 4 slices of Gouda to Closed lid and 8 sec speed 5.

    Scrape down all ingredients.

    Pour in 250g of milk and 200g of cream into Closed lid and 3 min 100 degrees speed 2.

    Add remaining ingredients to Closed lid then 10 min at 90 degrees speed 2, withoutmeasuringcup.

    If you like your sauce smooth, 10 seconds speed 6.

    Add more herbs or salt and pepper to taste.

Tip

If you like your sauce creamier add more parmesan or thicker, add more potato starch.
