  • 3 garlic cloves, Peeled
  • 2 teaspoons mustard, seeds, brown

  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 30g white vinegar
  • 1 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 canned cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place 1 onion, 1 leek, 1 stalk of celery and 3 cloves of garlic into mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 7. Scrape down side of bowl with spatula.

    2. Add 30g oil and cook for 2 min/100C/speed 1.

    3. Add 2 teaspoons of mustard seeds, 2 teaspoons of curry powder, 2 teaspoons of thyme, 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, 30g of vinegar, 2 tins of cannelini beans, 1 tin of tomatoes, 2 teaspoons vegetable stock paste, 90g of water and cook for 25 mins/Varoma/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting.

    4. Serve with toast.
