No Stick Scrambled Eggs Cooked in Thermo Jug

  • 80 g tomato
  • 60 g Capsicum
  • 60 g parsley, chives, shallots
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornflour
  • 6 eggs
  • 200 g Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. to  add butter, tomato, capsicum, parsley, chives, shallots, salt, vege paste and blitz for 4 seconds on 4. Scrap down bowl.


    Cook for 2 minutes on 75 degrees on  using .


    Into another bowl add cornflour to milk and mix through without lumps, crack the eggs into this mixture and stir gently to break up yolks.


    Add egg mixture to  and cook for 12 mins 90 degrees on speed 2. 


    Pour into Thermomix Stainless Bowl and let it rest for 5 mins. Serve on toast.

The  is easy to clean, well it was for me when I cooked this for the first time. The cornflour helps to bind the juices and egg together. A little trick I learnt from someone but I can't remember who!
