If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

This makes a lot! If you're not sure you'll like these, just make half the first time. I agree that they have a pretty subtle taste, so you might need to add some extra spices. I added coriander and cumin, and as we're not vegan, also added an egg.
I'm glad I tried these, and the colour is great.

It was good but needed something else. I will also mush up the chickpeas next time as it might help bound the patties together more. I might add some cumin to it next time and i also had to finish off in the oven as they eye falling apart. But i will have another go at them!
