Red Lentil Pasta Sauce
- 1 onion, peeled & halved
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled
- 20 g olive oil
- 700 g Passata
- 200 g mushroms, chopped
- 2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 100 g red wine
- 1 tablespoon EDC vegetable stock paste
- 100 g dried red lentils

Recipe's preparation
- Place onion & garlic in TM bowl and chop 3 seconds speed 7
- Add olive oil and cook varoma speed 1 for 4 minutes
- Add in the passata, mushrooms, red lentils, red wine and stock paste. Cook 20 minutes reverse speed 2 at 100 degrees
At this point if serving with pasta, start to boil your salted pot of water on the stove. Then add in pasta ~10 minutes into sauce cook time - Add in balsamic vinegar and cumin, and mix on reverse speed 4 for 10 seconds. Can add in a handful or two or chopped kale at this step as well
