Vegetable Quiche Dairy- free

  • 225 grams plain flour
  • 115 grams Dairy free butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Lemon (juice only)
  • 40 grams cold water


  • 1 brown onion, Halved
  • 30 grams olive oil
  • 1 red capsicum, Diced
  • 1 bunch asparagus, Chopped in to 2cm lengths
  • 150 grams Rice or almond milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 75 grams plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • pinch Salt and pepper
  • 50 grams baby spinach

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place flour, butter, curry powder, salt in bowl and turbo 4 times

    Add remaining pastry ingredients and mix 3 minutes, speed 3

    Wrap dough in Thermomat and rest in the fridge for 20 minutes

    Roll dough out on Thermomat and flip onto 26cm quiche dish and press in to sides, trimming excess edges

    Bake on 200 degrees for 15 minutes

  3. Add oil and onion to bowl and chop 3 seconds, speed 6

    Scrape down sides and sauté 2 minutes, varoma, speed 1

    Add diced capsicum and Asparagus and sauté 3 minutes, varoma, reverse, speed 1

    Add remaining ingredients and mix 10 seconds, reverse, speed 3

    Pour filling mixture in to pastry and bake on 180 degrees for 45 -60 minutes. You may need to cover it with foil if it browns too much.

    Serve hot or cold
