Vegetarian pasta sauce

Ingredients

6 portion(s)

  • 1 onion, peeled & halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1 carrot, chopped in chunks
  • 2 stalks Celery, chopped in chunks
  • 400 g canned chopped tomatoes
  • 60 g tomato paste
  • 10 g cream
  • 2 tbsp EDC Vegetable Stock
  • 1 tbsp Dried Basil Leaves
  • 2 tsp dried marjoram
  • 2 tsp Dried parsley
  • 20 g olive oil

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion, garlic, carrot & celery in TM bowl and chop 3 seconds speed 7.  Scrape down sides of bowl.

  2. Add olive oil and cook Varoma speed 1 for 3 minutes.  Scrape down sides of bowl

  3. Add in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, vegetable stock and herbs.  Cook 100 degrees speed 1 for 10 minutes

  4. Add cream and sugar and cook a further 10 minutes on speed 1 at 100 degrees with mixing cup removed & basket over lid.

  5. Meanwhile cook pasta at this point to prepare for the sauce
