If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Grate Parmesan 10sec/speed10. Set aisde and rinse and dry mixing bowl
Place onion and garlic into mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 5. Scrape down side of bowl with spatula
Add oil and saute 1min/Varoma/"Counter-clockwise operation" /Speed 1
Add bacon and chicken and cook 7min/varoma/"Counter-clockwise operation" /"Gentle stir setting"
Add Pasta (break in half to fit), boiling water, cream, tarragon, pepper and cook 10min/100degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" /"Gentle stir setting"
Add mushroom and eggs and cook 10min/100degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" /"Gentle stir setting"

A yummy combination of ingredients. Perhaps a typo on step 6 as I don't think cooking pasta for 20 mins would give a great texture
My family really enjoyed this
My family really enjoyed this one, especially my carbonara - mad son. I changed the cream to Carnation Cream For Cooking but it still turned out very well. It was really easy to make and I love how the mushrooms are added near the end so they stay in their slices. I also used the butterfly to ensure the chicken stayed in pieces. Thanks so much.
