Edmonds Parsley Sauce

  • 250 g Milk, (1 Cup)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place parsley into TM bowl and chop 5 seconds, speed 7. Scrape into small bowl and put aside.

    Melt Butter in TM bowl. 1 minute, Varoma, speed 2.

    Add flour and cook 7 minutes, Varoma, speed 3...whilst...

    Activating scales and gradually adding milk through lid around MC.

    Add chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.

     

    Makes one cup.
