Turned out beautifully, thank you. Next time I'll add some nutritional yeast as a cheese substitute on the recommendation of some to add cream cheese. I can always stir this into a small quantity.

Mmmmmmm!  Yum!  Great quick and easy recipe.  I used a bit of extra lemon juice because I like guac a bit more citrusy.

Thanks also for the tip with the avocado stone - never heard that one before!

Whipped this up before work in preparation for Mexican that evening. Got home and husband had nearly eaten the whole bowl ! So that's a sure sign I'll be making this again and don't need to look for a guacamole recipe. This is it !

Submitted by Thermomix in Australia on 26. August 2014 - 12:25.

Thanks for the feedback.  If you do wish to add lemon zest again, best to scrape down the side of the mixing bowl and chop zest again to ensure it is small enough.

  • This tasted alright but

    Submitted by KikiAbdallah on 25. August 2014 - 19:35.

This tasted alright but definitely wasn't 'smooth'. Mine still had chunky bits of rind despite grating it for longer than suggested. Next time I'll skip it completely.

We made this without chilli to be kid friendly. Also swapped ground coriander for fresh as that is what we had. Huge hit, will make this again and again.
